When many hear the word"SALE"they flock in high numbers. Then complain they spent to much a few days later. Not even cash for clunkers did what it was meant to do.{get low mpg cars on the road.I guess no restrictions were put on that as to what one could buy. Many would of not bought if that would of been. Many didn't have the income or credit to do so anyways.Even the first time home buyers deals don't say you can pay all after buying.Home prices are staying up though, due to that deal.Good deals don't mean many things.People fall for it all the time. This time in history is not the best time for many to go in debt for big items.High paying jobs? Many don't have and jobs aren't secure.More will loose jobs. Then loose what they have.Too many are counting on the jobs to come soon.Aren't coming fast enough. To many count on the economy going back up fast.Won't happen.Things will get worse before better. We can't count on anything in MI for years to come.No matter who takes office now.

Jams and Hater said it all. There are far better ways to save money than putzing around for two hours for a 'gas' sale. Good grief, it is no wonder the economy is a bad as it is....complete dummies make the news. Go forth and spend ya morons.

Kroger has had some good deals lately.Like any business they are NOT going to give anything away. They are making some profit on sales or they would go broke.By them doing this,it shows gas prices are much higher than need be.Food sales says food could be cheaper also.We just get fooled all the time.It is the same old story, pay the price or don't have.Just like many sales the store hopes you buy more than is on sale.Sale items are great right? The prices on other stuff makes up the differences on the sale items also. Many people now think shopping at one place only saves gas money.Does it really?Store prices hurt many cash paying people, and take advantage of the food cards the poor get.Causing many NOT to eat right.Even low price food stores have raised prices.I shop all over.If it takes me going to 5 stores to save I do.The gas I use is not that much.I may use 3$ more in gas but have saved 60$ in food costs.I did the math. Many generic brands are great as you know what to add to them.

This is another classic case of mass hysteria combined with human stupidity. For those that don't know, every two minutes your car is idling, it uses about the same amount of fuel it takes to go about one mile. You get zero miles per gallon when you idle! Not to mention the stress it puts on your vehicle's engine, and cooling system. Excessive idling can actually damage your engine components, including cylinders, spark plugs, and exhaust systems. I wonder how much fuel in total was wasted from this event? Everyone I saw, (except the guy who ran out of gas) was idling away trying to keep warm. I'm guessing hundreds of gallons. In the end, these people saved maybe a couple bucks. But, they backed up traffic, caused stress to other businesses, neglected family, and wasted fuel and time. Anyhow, I drove right by rolling in laughter at all those idling people, filled up at the Meijer station in 5 minutes, and went home to my wife and children, who were all happy to see me.
