Jennifer - apparently you are not a mother of a son or maybe not a mother at all. Who are you to say who is "much more worried". It is obvious you don't know the real bond between a mother and child.

While this mother was worried sick about her son, which is understandable, trust me, her daughter in law was much more worried, as he was her spouse, and her children's father, much less their support. I am thankful that he is alright. The bases in the US have gotten less safe over the years as they are now protected by a civilian service, or in some cases, not guarded at all.
