Patience With Winter Plowing
Gas tax revenues are down and costs are up for local governments and road commissions, which means drivers will need to bring patience with them this winter time.

The government cuts are hurting many towns across MI.As big gov passed the buck to the towns to do the best they can.Same way with schools. If there were LAWS that people could sue the government, the gov would be doing things different. If we could easily take some out of gov because they do a bad job, more gov would think of people, not themselves and their rich friends. If jobs don't come to MI,many will be in danger, even the rich.Money don't buy everything. As far as I know Mi has not became a warm climate year around.I guess the Mi government believes the weather forecasts of a warmer winter.Weather forecast seem to say one thing.Mother nature shows us different.People running this state don't know as much as they claim to know do they?I thought they were suppose to be educated.Lack of common sense,I guess.Which puts many people in danger.Hope we all can buy NEW snow tires, not likely.

The price of gas continues to go up.Us using the gas pays tax on it.When coming back from Ohio gas there was 2.44 a gal.Every penny counts in MI.I figured a long time ago roads would not get taken care of in MI like they should be in the winter. Now that funds to help with fires ect has been cut in Mi,hurting all areas.Road funds will be no different. Many counties can't afford any more gathering of taxes to do anything.I'd really like to see more news about other counties and what they are suffering. It's always lansing mainly.Poverty has hit our county so hard.NO help is here for many things.211 is of no basic help,in many ways.Food banks, charities, and help finding furniture, washers, dryers, refrigators,&clothing has been out of the question. It all comes with a price tag that people can no longer pay.We need jobs so bad.Rural food banks don't get a lot of help and many can't afford to drive to hillsdale, not that what is there can do much either.we feel so doomed.

I'm tired of hearing this BS every year.....This state has more months of winter than summer...so that means more snow than sunshine. Learn to budget....what is more important? The snow and ice being taking care of in a timely manner or maintenance of something in the summer?
