LANSING - A 35-year-old man is dead, killed by gunfire in Lansing overnight. The name of the victim has not been released yet, while next of kin are contacted. Police have not located any suspect or suspects so far.
The shooting took place around midnight in the 600 block of North Pine Street, near the intersection of Saginaw Street. Police were called for a report of a shooting in the area. They located the victim outside with gunshot wounds. The man was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead there.
