President Obama will answer questions on fiscal cliff negotiations today via Twitter.
It's part of the White House "My2K" Twitter campaign.
The Twitter chat is scheduled for 2 p.m.
More than 300,000 Twitter users have responded using the "My2K" hashtag, which refers to more than $2,000 in extra taxes that average American families would pay if a series of tax cuts expire at the end of the year.
"Good to see lots of folks on twitter speaking out on extending middle class tax cuts," Obama wrote Monday on the White House Twitter account. "I'll answer some Qs on that at 2ET. Ask w/ #My2k –bo"
Obama can respond to whatever Twitter messages he chooses to.
