JACKSON COUNTY (WILX)--The victims, a Summit Township couple had discovered cash along with a credit card missing from their residence. Further investigation revealed the stolen credit card had been used at several Jackson businesses shortly after being discovered missing.
With the assistance of Sheriff's Office Detective Andrew Sullivan, a 57 year old female home care worker employed by Evergreen Home Care was identified as the suspect.
The home health care worker had been at the residence providing care shortly before the items were discovered missing. Through the investigation evidence was recovered indicating the suspect. Sheriff Investigators allege the female then proceeded to go on a spending spree mere moments after the larceny.
