700,000 More Mattel Toys Recalled

By  |

The Consumer Product Safety Commission is recalling an additional 700,000 Mattel toys made in China because they may contain excessive lead.

The bulk of the recalled toys, 675,000 of them, are various Barbie accessories. Another 8,900 belong to the "Big Big World 6-in-1 Bongo Band" line, while 9,000 are "Geo Trax Locomotive" toys. Both of those are sold under the Fisher-Price name.

Last month Mattel recalled 20.5 million toys made in China, also because of potentially dangerous levels of lead.
