MDOT has a new web site allowing you to check the rating and other safety information for 4,402 bridges in the state. The idea is to show drivers how safe Michigan's bridges are. The ratings are current as of August 15 and only apply to bridges at least 20 feet long. You can find a link to the site at the end of this story.
