An overnight fire in Jackson County leaves a family homeless this morning.

An overnight fire in Jackson County leaves a family homeless this morning.
Firefighters arrived to find the house on east main street in rives township engulfed in flames.The homeowner said she and her family were asleep when the fire broke out, but awoke from the smoke alarm.
The owner of the home said it was a complete loss. Every one at the house was able to get out safe. One of the family's pets has gone missing.
We are told the American Red Cross is assisting the family at this time.
There is no word yet on what started the fire.
