Woman Killed on Interstate 96
33-year-old Wana Powell was struck and killed as she walked across interstate in rain.

33-year-old Wana Powell was struck and killed by a truck Tuesday night as she tried to cross Interstate 96.
It happened near the Martin Luther King, Jr. exit shortly after 6PM.
Investigators don't know why Powell was trying to cross the highway, but she did live in the vicinity.
There are no signs the driver of the truck was at fault and no charges have been filed.
