A Munith woman died this morning when a car apparently went out of control and crashed into the woods off Parman Road in Bunker Hill Township.
The victim is identified as 25-year-old Shayla Lynnette Watchmaker. A man in the car, 28-year-old Samuel Donald Watchmaker III, suffered serious injuries. Their relationship wasn't provided.
The accident occurred at about 3:30 a.m. just north of Murray Road
Investigators say Samuel Watchmaker was able to walk to a nearby house where he was found.
Although the accident remains under investigation, speed is expected to be a factor.
