Update: Warming Centers & Shelters List

Here is the current list of warming center location sent to WILX News.

Shelters (open through the night):
- Trinity Church at 3355 Dunkel Road, space limited.
- Southside Community Center (5815 Wise Rd.),
No pets other than service animals. Bring medications you need, clothes, toiletries, sleeping bags would be good. There will be some food there.

- St. Casimir's Church, open as needed, 815 Sparrow Ave, Lansing.

- Haslett High School. Located on Marsh Road just south of Haslett Road.
· Bring personal belongings
· Bring blankets
· Power will be available to charge personally owned devices
· Pets are not allowed
· Water and snacks will be provided
· Tables and chairs will be provided

- Holt High School, 7am-11pm, showers & restrooms available.

- East Lansing, Bailey Community Center, 300 Bailey Street, Open 24 hours through Thursday Dec 26th.

- Mount Hope Church, 202 S. Creyts Road - bring your own food

- Calvary Lutheran Church, 6301 W. St Joseph Highway (near Creyts) offering 24 hour warming center including coffee, hot chocolate and snacks, food is welcome, can charge phones, free wifi - FREE Christmas dinner from 12 - 4 p.m. on Christmas Day, Dec. 25

- DeWitt Junior High School 2957W. Herbison Rd, DeWitt, MI, will stay open as long as needed, but could close if no one is using it.
People coming here are encouraged to bring clothing, personal hygiene items, and medications. Do not bring pets, alcohol/drugs, firearms.

- Mason First United Methodist Church, located 201 E. Ash Street, Mason, will also be open Thursday and Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM.
- Nazarene Church at 415 Maple Street. Thursday and Friday, from 8 AM to 4 PM.
