JACKSON - Police say an investigation into a violent crime was the reason they blocked off part of Francis and Prospect streets on Monday evening.
They were conducting a high-risk search warrant at a house as part of an ongoing investigation into a violent crime.
No one was at the house at the time.
Police are meeting with the Jackson County Prosecutor to determine what, if any, other details will be released today.
