The Lansing Board of Water and Light experienced a net increase in the number of its customers who ware without power during the day on Friday. BWL's 5am update indicated they were down to approximately 2,600. Twelve hours later, that number grew back to 3,000 customers. The BWL is projecting that fewer than 1,000 customers will be without power by the end of this Sunday, Dec. 29. The remaining outages are expected to be restored next week and reflect single homes with downed lines or small pockets of outages.

Consumers Energy is bringing their numbers down. As of 5pm Friday Ingham County had 2,720 customers without power, Eaton County was at 1,453 and Clinton County at 2,303. Shiawassee County is at 5,646. Genesee County continues to experience the worst damage with 11,182 customers without power in and around Flint.
Consumers Energy estimates to restore power to the majority of its customers still without power by the end of the day Saturday.
