Water has been restored to the three businesses near Friday's water main break in Lansing.
The Board of Water and Light reported the break was fixed around 3:00 Saturday morning, but the road is still a mess.
Portions of Cedar Street near Saginaw and Oakland had to be torn up Friday to get to the break which caused backups in the area for hours.
The break was caused by a shift in the ground due to the warming temperatures.
"When the spring thaw comes the pressure changes underground and so that can cause pipes to break," said Amy Akers, BWL social media specialist.
"I don't know that there's anything necessarily that people can do to stop it from happening in the future. Really it's just because spring is coming and the ground is thawing so pressure is changing."
