Lansing Police are investigating two shootings that happened Tuesday evening. This makes seven shootings in the city in less than a week.
Police first were called to a home on the 300 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. just before 6 p.m.. Police tell us a shot was fired into a home. No one was hit and police are looking for two suspects in the incident.
About two hours later, police responded to reports of shots fired nearby, at a housing complex on the 600 block of Sycamore Street. Shortly afterward, a 27-year-old man showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm. Police say the two incidents are not random and may have been related.
