Two Armed Robberies in Lansing

Police responded to two incidents within a short time frame Saturday afternoon, and they need your help.

The first happened on the 4-thousand block of West Saginaw Hwy in Lansing Township. The suspect entered Game Hits Game Store, showed a gun and demanded cash. A K-9 unit led police to a location where they believe the suspect drove away. The suspect was seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses and a red bandana.

Another armed robbery was reported shortly after the first, involving a suspect matching the same description. Police responded to a call from the Little Caesars on North Grand River Near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. An employee at the pizzeria said that the man had a pistol and got away with a small amount of cash. He was seen leaving in a tan or gold sedan.

Police are not saying if they believe the cases are connected.
