Triple Michigan Shooting Leaves 1 Dead and 2 Hurt

LONDON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) -- Authorities say a triple shooting in southeastern Michigan has left one man dead and two others injured.
Monroe County Sheriff's officials say shootings early Sunday morning at a home in London Township killed a 32-year-old Romulus man and hurt a 35-year-old Taylor man and 38-year-old Brownstown Township woman. The injuries weren't life-threatening.
A sheriff's release says the men got into a fight and several witnesses unsuccessfully tried to break it up. The homeowner fired warning shots into the ground, but fighting resumed after a brief break.
Investigators say the Romulus man grabbed his gun from a vehicle and shot the Taylor man in the chest. The homeowner then fatally shot the Romulus man once in the chest.
The woman was shot in the hand.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
