MASON - A train engine goes off track in northern Mason Friday morning. The engine was pulling 11 cargo cars at slow speed on Mason's north side by North Street and Mason Street, when the wheels went slightly off track. This happened shortly before 7 o'clock. The train engine did not tip over, and none of the cars have come off the track.

Crews tell News 10 that a small section of North Street is expected to be closed for the rest of the day, while they find a way to get the engine back on track.

The crew is not yet sure what might have caused the engine to go off track.
