LANSING (WILX)-- (FROM BWL) As of 5 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23, outages have gone down overnight from 34,800 to 30,000 customers without power in the Lansing Board of Water & Light service territory. The number of downed power line reports has increased overnight from 300 to more than 400, and are being prioritized for repair. Residents are urged to stay 25 feet away from downed wires. Crews continue to work around the clock to restore power. The BWL has engaged mutual aid agreements with other utilities to send crews to assist BWL repair crews. There is no estimate of full restoration of power at this time.

(FROM CONSUMERS ENERGY) 201,000 customers are without power, as the calm weather overnight allowed crews to make good progress. Currently we have 1,500 employees are working around the clock to get everyone restored. Full restoration could take until Saturday.

News Ten's Alyssa Fenske is working on getting your restoration information. Watch tonight at five and six for updates.
