Police in Lansing are searching for gunman they say shot a teenager early Monday outside a large party at 800 W Miller, formerly Auggie's bar.
It happened just after midnight.
According to police, the shooting happened near the building's south entrance. The 19-year-old was shot in the hip area. He is now in the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Police believe about 100 teens were at the party. Officers found several shell casings in the area and alcoholic beverages inside the building.
They were able to speak with an adult, who rented the space for the party and tell us they are seeking charges against that individual.
Police have no suspects in the shooting at this time, but believe one of the party-goers may have information. The shooting victim has been able to provide few details.
