LANSING - Michigan citizens will be able to carry concealed Tasers now. On Tuesday Governor Sndyer signed into law a bill that allows people with a concealed weapons permit to carry the stun guns. Some special training will also be required. State Senator Rick Jones (R-Grand Ledge) pushed for the bill's passage for several years.
Governor Snyder also signed a bill giving medial amnesty to minors who seek medical treatment for alcohol poisoning either for themselves of another individual. Currently those under 21 could be prosecuted for minor in possession of alcohol or consumption of alcohol, which could discourage young people from going to the hospital after over consumption. The medical amnesty is meant to encourage minors to seek medical assistance.
