T.B. Simon Power Plant Catches Fire at MSU

Michigan State University Police are investigating a Saturday morning fire at the T.B. Simon Power Plant.

Police say compressor on the first floor caught fire around 5:30 a.m. That's according to a plant employee. The Office of Radiation Chemical and Biological Safety responded, along with the East Lansing Fire Department who extinguished the fire.

No one was injured and the cause of the fire is still being investigated. Stay with News 10 as we find out more.
