WYOMING, Mich. (AP) -- Police have identified the suspect in the slayings of a pregnant Grand Rapids woman found in a vehicle and her boyfriend.

City of Wyoming Police Chief James Carmody said Friday that 31-year-old Brady Oestrike committed suicide after crashing his car Thursday night during a police chase. Police found 18-year-old Brooke Slocum dead in the trunk of his vehicle after it crashed on an entrance ramp.

Wyoming police found Slocum's boyfriend, 25-year-old Charles Oppenneer, dead Wednesday in a park. Oppenneer and Slocum had last been seen Saturday leaving her Grand Rapids apartment.

Police haven't identified a motive for the slayings. Carmody said Oestrike and Slocum met over the Internet. Slocum was eight months pregnant.

Carmody says investigators were preparing a search warrant for Oestrike's Wyoming home when he left.
