People living in Jackson may get their leaves picked up next fall--- if a proposal makes it onto this summer's ballot.

"Clean Jackson" plans to submit more than 500 signatures to city council to put the stormwater fee question on the August primary ballot.

The fee paid for things like street-sweeping, gutter cleaning and leaf-pickup--- but was repealed last year because it was illegal.

The group will present the petitions to city council at next week's meeting.
