The Michigan State Senate has passed two right to work bills.
State senators voted in favor of a bill involving right to work in the public sector by a 22-16 margin. All Democrats and a few Republicans opposed it.
The State Senate passed another right to work bill regarding the private sector by a 22-4 vote. Democrats walked off the floor prior to that vote.
The State House of Representatives has already passed a right to work bill involving the private sector by a 58-52 vote.
