State Scorecard Puts Six Lansing Schools On Priority List

By  |

Eastern High School and five Lansing elementary schools are on the state's list of lowest-performing schools, released by the state Department of Education on Wednesday. Eastern has been on the list before with Cavanaugh, North and Willow dropping down to that ranking. The other schools are Reo and Willow. The state's top-bottom-list ranks school performance by color, with green being the top-performing "reward" schools. Other designations are "focus" school - those that need attention, and "priority" the lowest performing schools. Find out what the Lansing School District plans on changing to improve area schools tonight at 6:00.
