Thanks to additional money from the state, the DNR just got bigger. Twenty-three conservation officers just graduated from the academy.
The new officers will be scattered across the state next week. Rookie conservation officers will be paired with more experienced officers to give the recent grads an opportunity to learn how to perform their day-to-day duties, such as responding to calls related to protecting our state's natural resources.
