Lansing Police have charged Arthur Lewis Nichols, 63, with Assault with Intent to Murder Saturday after he allegedly stabbed someone on Lansing's south side.
A man is in serious but stable condition at Sparrow Hospital Saturday morning after he was stabbed overnight in south Lansing.
The stabbing happened just before midnight on the 1400 block of West Holmes. The victim then jumped on a bicycle and rode to the 3200 block of South Washington before police were called and he was transported to the hospital.
Nichols was arraigned by Judge Patrick Cherry and is being held on $75,000 cash bond. His next court date is Sept. 8.
