MSU athletes visited sick kids in the hospital Wednesday.
Nearly a dozen members from the football team visited the Children's Center at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. It's a tradition for university athletes to spend some of their off-time doing things like this.
"It's great to see the kids (and) how happy they are to see us," said Quarterback Connor Cook. "They (have) big smiles on their faces-- (it's) truly a blessing."
"It means a lot to us to be able to give back to the little kids (to) see them smile and how much fun they're having."
Cook says spending time with these kids also makes them realize how lucky they are for what they have going on in their lives.
