Snow Causes Slick Roads For Drivers

Because of the amount of snow that fell Wednesday, Lansing will only be salting intersections.

Major roads will be left covered with snow, leaving some drivers already feeling frustrated.

"You've still got people out here that like to speed and not obey the road conditions," said Karen Gibson-Riddle. "It's very dangerous, just drive slow, I get in that lane and I just go slow."

Eaton and Ingham County dispatch centers reported several slide-offs and spin-outs around the area, with several accidents being reported in Jackson County.

"We should be used to driving in this stuff by now but it'd be nice if they could get it cleared up a little better," said Rachel Smith.

Some drivers said they were surprised they hadn't seen more plows out during the day.

"I've seen nothing, not one, no yellow lights nowhere," said Damon Buycks.

"I think they should get some trucks out here and get this snowed cleared up for us so we can drive better out here."
