The third-term suburban Detroit congressman starts his "listening tour" in Escanaba on Thursday. Other stops include Iron Mountain, Marquette, Houghton, Hancock, Munising, St. Ignace and Sault St. Marie.
His last stop will be in Boyne City on Tuesday.
Stops along the way include small businesses, an American Indian casino and Michigan Technological University.
Peters says he's been traveling around the state since announcing his campaign last spring. It's his second tour of the U.P.
