Sen. Rick Jones (R-Grand Ledge) introduced legislation, Wednesday, that would give tax incentives to any company that would build an oil refinery in Michigan.
According to Jones, the refinery would have to be clean and efficient and if built, would keep gas prices low across the state. The abatement would last ten years, if the legislation is passed.
News 10's Anthony Sabella spoke with Jones, and others, on whether or not we could soon see a new refinery in Michigan. Story at 11.
