Schools Near Snow Day Limits

Michigan schools are nearing their limits for snow days that don't have to be made up.

By law, schools can have six days off for things that are out of their control, such as severe weather. Icy cold temperatures and heavy snowfall are close pushing many districts over the edge.

Tonight at six, News 10's Lorne Fultonberg asks superintendents how they make decisions on calling snow days and what extra days would mean for their district -- financially and otherwise.
