Schools Near Snow Day Limits

Severe winter weather is closing schools again this week, many of which are nearing their limit for closures before days must be made up.

Michigan schools are nearing their limits for snow days that don't have to be made up.

By law, schools can have six days off for things that are out of their control, such as severe weather. Icy cold temperatures and heavy snowfall are close pushing many districts over the edge.
