Romney Takes Aim at "Union Bosses" in WILX Interview
Mitt Romney sat down for a fireside chat of sorts, with WILX before his speech at the Lincoln Day Breakfast at Chisholm Hills Golf Course in Delhi Township.

A campaign on the move, as Mitt Romney's people walked the Governor in through a few select handshakes and into a fireside chat with News 10 Saturday morning.
He took a moment to check out some old photos of his dad-- Governor George Romney during an interview with WILX long ago.
This interview began with a challenge his father never really had-- winning over the working class. Recently UAW Local 652 President Mike Green said this about Romney:
"He's attacking working people, something i don't think he knows anything about."
Romney responded.
"The people that have difficulty with me are the union bosses," he said. "They don't want me to be talking to union workers about getting good jobs with rising incomes."
But union workers aren't happy with Romney either-- protesting his event Friday in Detroit with signs spelling out "Let Romney Go Bankrupt."
"I made it real clear that the auto bailout, the way it was originally considered, where executives went to Washington to ask for $50 billion dollars-- that was a bad idea," said Romney. "The companies needed to go through a managed bankruptcy."
Then I asked him what bank would have lent GM $50 billion dollars?
"That's why i said in my Op-Ed, the government would need to provide help."
Romney opponents have tried to brand him as a flip-flopper, but the former Massachusetts governor feels it's okay for a politician to change their views over the years.
"There have been, without question, items over my lifetime that based on experience I've concluded i was wrong in the past and taken a view that i think is right now," he said. "But Senator Santorum says sometimes he just takes one for the team, meaning he votes for things he disagrees with."
Romney listed some examples.
"(Santorum) said, 'I voted for planned parenthood--' (he) disagrees with that. He voted for No Child Left Behind and he disagrees with that."
"The American people, in a crisis like we have right now, want someone who will vote based upon his principle."
