Rockets Fired After Hamas Rejects Ceasefire Agreement

GAZA STRIP -- Rockets were fired overnight as Hamas said no to the cease-fire proposal.

The attack came just as Israel's Security Cabinet agreed to an Egyptian cease-fire proposal.

Hamas says the cease-fire with Israel is "not acceptable".

The proposal called for hostilities between Israel and Hamas to end followed by negotiations on easing the border blockade of Gaza.

Three rockets were fired shortly after the deal went into effect.

The Israeli military says "its holding its fire in accordance with the deal for now, but warns it will ramp up strikes on Gaza if Hamas does not accept the cease-fire".

185 people are dead after a week of heavy fight and airstrikes between Israel and Hamas.
