Lansing police say a teen and an adult will be arraigned later today for an alleged robbery early Sunday morning.
At 12:07 a.m. Sunday, a boy with a bandana entered a Tim Horton's restaurant on the 2000 block of North Larch. He was wearing a bandana over his face and had a gun, and demanded cash from an employee. He left after the money was handed to him.
Police went looking for the thief after talking with the employee. The suspect, a 15-year-old boy from Durand, was caught at Polly and John, a few blocks away. The money was recovered and the gun was confiscated.
Police later learned that a 32-year-old Lansing man, who was a family friend of the teen, was also involved. He was arrested after being found on the 2200 block of Turner.
Both suspects are expected to be arraigned today.
