EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) -- The rain-swollen Red Cedar River has caused flooding on Michigan State University's campus, leaving some athletic fields waterlogged.

Flooding in East Lansing is in areas that are part of the river's flood plain.
Waters from the Red Cedar River flowed onto the soccer practice field and DeMartin soccer stadium last week. By Saturday, it was at Secchia softball stadium and McLane baseball stadium. Water also overtook much of a bike path near the Jenison Fieldhouse.
