The man who broke into a woman's home and raped her at knife point is going to prison, likely for the rest of his life.
William Deshiree Thomas was sentenced to 55 to 100 years in prison Wednesday afternoon. He was convicted last month on charges of home invasion and 1st degree criminal sexual conduct.
Thomas broke into the woman's home on Lowcroft Avenue in Lansing the night of St. Patrick's Day in 2012 and raped her at knife point.
