A Jackson County prison inmate is looking at five more years after police say he was planning an escape.
It might've worked too, if he was a little more forthcoming with his father.
State police say Dirvon Bell made arrangements to have his father pick him up at the Cooper Street prison in last Friday.
His father got lost and asked a prison guard where he could pick up his son because he thought he was being paroled.
Bell was later located in a garage on prison grounds.
He's currently serving time for armed robbery.
