Preventing Heat Exhaustion

Mid-Michigan is experiencing a heat wave, and that means extra precaution should be taken for people of all ages outdoors.

Summer is prime time to enjoy activities outside, but this weather can make it downright dangerous. During sports camps at Michigan State University, trainers and coaches are making sure athletes and their parents are staying hydrated. There's also special rules for canceling practice depending on the heat index.
