Prelims Delayed for Suspects in Trooper's Death

The preliminary exams for the couple accused in the shooting death of State Trooper Paul Butterfield will be delayed.

Eric and Sarah Knysz have waived their right to have prelims within two weeks of their arraignment.

Eric Knysz is charged with Butterfield's murder. Sarah Knysz is charged with helping him escape.

Butterfield was shot in the head after pulling over a car near Ludington on Sept. 9. The couple was caught two hours later.
