Consumers Energy is reporting Approx. 8,700 customers remain without service due to the thunderstorms that swept across the state Thursday, Friday and early Saturday.
The approx. numbers of customers remaining without service in the following counties are: Clinton (614); Eaton (156); Hillsdale (158); Ingham (411); and Jackson (462).
Consumers Energy is hoping to have power restored to all counties by Sunday night.
