Jackson College says local residents can escape this week's hot temperatures by coming to its main campus. The college is using the George Potter Center’s Robert Snyder Dining Room as a cooling site.
Temperatures are expected to reach 90 degrees several days this week, with high humidity. Area residents are invited to cool off in the air conditioned Potter Center cafeteria, which is located on the first floor. The cafeteria offers comfortable seating with a variety of large and small-screen TVs. Food service is available from 10am to 1pm, Monday through Thursday.
Bus service is available from downtown Jackson to Central Campus throughout the day Monday-Friday. For the full bus schedule, click on the link below.
