PITTSFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) -- Police say they have seized more than 70 marijuana plants from a nail salon inside a Meijer store near Ann Arbor.
The seizure took place early Tuesday in Pittsfield Township.
Police say a Meijer employee called them at 12:41 a.m. after finding the suspected marijuana growing operation while investigating a water leak in US Nails Salon.
The salon rents space from Meijer on the upper level of the store.
AnnArbor.com reports (http://bit.ly/HOkBw2) the salon was closed late Tuesday morning.
Deputy Chief Gordy Schick says Meijer officials are cooperating with Pittsfield Township police.
