LANSING - Multiple shots are fired in the streets of south Lansing overnight.
A man says he was dropping an aquaintance off at a home in the 1600 block of Donora Street at about 2:45 AM Thursday, when a car came up behind him and someone inside began firing, striking the car several times.
The man quickly drove away, and felt blood on his head. He believed he was shot, and drove himself to the hospital.
At the hospital, doctors determined his wound was most likely caused by broken glass fragments.
Police found several shell casings in the road of the 1600 block of Donora Street.
No one else was hurt.
They were not able to locate the person the wounded man said he had dropped off at a home there.
The man described the vehicle where the shots came from as possibly a gray min-van.
