Police Going Undercover to Bust Distracted Drivers

By  |

Don't say you weren't warned: Meridian Township police are going undercover to bust distracted drivers. They'll have plain-clothes officers driving unmarked cars, looking for people texting, doing their makeup, whatever. The undercover car will then radio a uniformed officer to pull the driver over and write a ticket. More than 3,300 Americans died in distracted-driver accidents in 2012.
