DETROIT (AP) -- Police say an 11-year-old boy and a 26-year-old man have been wounded in a shooting on Detroit's west side.

Police say the shooting happened about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday when the man got out of a vehicle and two people fired multiple gunshots at him.

The man was shot along with the boy, who was inside a home at the time. Police say both were listed in critical condition afterward.
