One person is shot in Lansing and police are searching for the shooter.
It happened just after one AM early Wednesday morning on Waverly Road near Sheffield Boulevard, on the southwest side of Lansing.
Police tell us a car pulled up alongside a 19-year old man in a vehicle, and opened fire.
The driver was shot several times, but is expected to survive.
A female passenger in the car was not hurt.
The victim in that shooting was able to make it to the intersection of Malcolm X, formerly Main Street, and Washington near downtown Lansing, where he called police.
Police say the shooting was not random and that the victim and shooter knew each other.
