Meth lab bust in Lansing

The Tri-County Metro Narcotics Squad expects to charge two people in yesterday's meth bust in Lansing, a 41-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman.

Officers were sent to a report of trouble in the 200 block of Bell Street in Lansing. When the officers arrived on the scene they noticed a strong chemical smell at the home. Lansing Police officers along with detectives from the Tri-County Metro Narcotics Squad found hazardous materials, and seized the meth making products as evidence.

Officers arrested the man on an outstanding warrant from a prior meth case and then found four cooking operations in this house.
